Optimal ratio of spectrum, light intensity and photoperiod to minimize costs when growing microgreens

The paper considers the influence of spectrum and light intensity/photoperiod ratio on energy intensity production financial costs consumed electricity. This is caused not only by yield obtained, but also different efficiency lightemitting diodes price electricity at hours day. Considering spectrum, it was found that decrease with increasing proportion red for all microgreen varieties under consideration. Laboratory studies were carried out microgreens cabbage “Mitsuna” variety radish “Octave” variety. A long photoperiod low better than a short high in terms efficiency. Combining results dry weight as quality indicator, consumption cost per fresh weight, we consider lighting system parameters B:R:FR=29:58:13%, PPFD= 100 μmol·m -2 ·s -1 / 16 h preferred option growing microgreens.
